The Education Coach – Early Childhood Education role is onsite in Gainesville, FL, with compensation of $40,000–$43,000 per year. The Gainesville Empowerment Zone Family Learning Center, operated by Gainesville for All, provides early childhood education and family support for children from six weeks through age five. The coach helps teachers strengthen classroom instruction and deliver developmentally appropriate learning experiences from infancy through VPK. Through classroom observation, modeling, feedback, lesson-planning support, assessment review, and follow-up, the role contributes to teacher development and children’s learning and school readiness.
What you'll do
- Observe classrooms and provide constructive feedback
- model teaching strategies
- coach teachers on classroom management, routines, supervision, and positive interactions
- support professional development goals, action plans, orientation, and training
- review lesson plans and support curriculum implementation
- assist with developmental assessments and progress monitoring
- monitor classroom quality and compliance
