The Shop Laborer, Winter 2026–27 role is onsite in Anchorage, AK, with compensation of $16–$18 per hour. The position supports Hilltop Ski Area’s Mountain Operations Department in keeping the area operating safely and efficiently. The role exists to provide hands-on shop, equipment, facility, and grounds support so maintenance staff have the tools, materials, and assistance needed for their work. It contributes to safe and efficient operations through equipment preparation, upkeep, and general labor.

What you'll do

• Assist mechanics and maintenance staff with routine maintenance and repair projects
• organize tools, parts, supplies, and equipment
• assist with inventory and prepare equipment and work areas
• clean and prepare vehicles and equipment
• assist with preventive maintenance, facility upkeep, seasonal preparations, snow removal, and grounds maintenance
• follow safety procedures and report hazards or equipment concerns
• support team members and interact courteously with guests.
