The Cloud and Data Center Systems Engineer role is onsite in Dallas, TX. Pay is $60–$70 per hour. The role supports data center operations by maintaining the availability, performance, and security of enterprise infrastructure. The engineer designs, implements, monitors, and maintains VMware and Azure environments, supports hybrid and on-premises solutions, and resolves critical infrastructure issues to help ensure reliable operations and business continuity.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere private cloud environments across data centers
• configure disaster recovery tools
• support Azure infrastructure
• monitor and optimize performance
• document infrastructure and processes
• support VMware planning and architecture
• collaborate on hybrid, cloud-native, and on-premises deployments
• troubleshoot escalated issues
• maintain Windows servers and data center hardware
• participate in on-call rotation.

Why this role
