The Castle Dark Makeup Artist works onsite in Riverside, CA, for a seasonal Halloween event. Pay is $19.50 per hour. The role supports Castle Dark by transforming performers into characters for the attraction. The artist creates and maintains theatrical and special-effects looks so performers are ready for the event and their characters remain consistent throughout the night.

What you'll do

• Apply theatrical, special-effects, and Halloween makeup
• transform performers into monsters and other characters
• create wounds, bruises, scars, and blood effects
• work with prosthetics, face paint, body paint, and makeup products
• follow character designs
• complete makeup before performers enter
• provide touch-ups as needed
• clean and sanitize tools and work areas
• help maintain a professional backstage environment.
