The Assistant Girls Swim Coach role is onsite in Lansing, MI; compensation is a stipend determined by the co-curricular amount associated with the sport under the LSEA contract. Lansing School District serves more than 10,000 PreK–12 students and is dedicated to providing an excellent education in a safe, nurturing environment. The coach supports the team’s athletic and academic success throughout the season. The role includes recruiting and coaching swimmers, supporting academic eligibility, coordinating schedules, and maintaining team equipment in accordance with district and MHSAA policies.

What you'll do

• Lead and support the team throughout the season
• recruit a full team, including conducting competitive tryouts if needed
• coach toward a winning record and postseason success
• support players’ academic eligibility and success
• coordinate practice and competition schedules with the Athletic Director
• maintain and distribute equipment and jerseys
• organize offseason conditioning, training, and clinics
• and follow MHSAA policies and regulations.
