CNC Programmer

The CNC Programmer role is onsite in Rochester, New York, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Pay is $31–$43 per hour. Advantech Industries is a family-owned manufacturer providing CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly services to industries including defense, medical, and aerospace. The programmer creates and maintains CNC programs and manufacturing processes for precision production. Programming milling, turning, and multitasking equipment, along with developing tooling and fixturing information, supports consistent product quality and customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Use CAD skills to create workholding and fixturing layouts
• program CNC machine tools using SolidWorks and Mastercam
• create geometry as needed
• generate programs for milling centers, turning centers, and multitasking CNC equipment
• update and manage CNC programs and manufacturing processes
• create manufacturing tool lists. Requires proficiency with SolidWorks, Mastercam, and cutting speeds and feeds
• Mazatrol and Fanuc experience is a plus.

Why this role

Minimum five years of experience and a high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree in industrial technologies is preferred. ITAR-restricted position limited to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or green card holders.
