Production Equipment Technician, First Shift

The Production Equipment Technician, First Shift role is onsite in New Bedford, MA, with a 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Monday–Friday schedule and Saturday overtime from 7:00 a.m. to noon as required. Pay is $20–$25 per hour. The technician supports production equipment operations at Ahead LLC. The role maintains production readiness by repairing and performing preventive maintenance on embroidery machines, heat seal presses, digital printers, laser cutting machines, and related equipment. It also records completed work and trains an apprentice technician as needed.

What you'll do

• Repair cap frames and other machine attachments
• clean and lubricate embroidery machines
• repair production equipment
• perform preventive maintenance on machinery
• keep daily records of machine tasks
• train an apprentice technician as needed
• perform additional assigned duties.
