Triage Nurse (OBGYN)

What you'll do

• Assess patients’ general condition, particularly acutely ill patients
• document observations, treatments, procedures, and responses
• support lab tracking and Pap smear follow-up
• provide wellness education and communicate physician instructions
• triage patient calls and schedule hospital admissions
• respond to care and medication inquiries and communicate with pharmacies as needed
• coordinate care with hospitals, home health, hospice, and other institutions
• maintain reports and records
• follow infection-control and safety guidelines
• may administer medications
• administer immunizations and injections and perform specimen collection and other lab functions as requested.
