The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) role is onsite in Palmer, AK, with 12-hour shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Pay is $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience. The CNA joins the care team at a skilled nursing facility. The role supports residents' daily care, comfort, dignity, and safety. By assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring and documenting health indicators, and communicating changes to the Charge Nurse, the CNA contributes to coordinated resident care.
What you'll do
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral and nail care, feeding, and mobility
- monitor and record vital signs and weights
- assist with rehabilitative and restorative nursing as directed
- maintain clean and comfortable resident environments
- respond to resident needs
- report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse
- contribute observations to care planning and documentation
- support new staff orientation and ongoing education.
