The Second-Shift Cutting Supervisor role is onsite in Katy, TX, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pay is $25.94 per hour. Classic Wire and Cable supplies aluminum building wire and copper medium-voltage cable to electrical distributors.

What you'll do

• Manage cutting staff and safe equipment operation during cutting and respooling
• train staff on cutting machines, forklifts, picking tickets, quality, material handling, and additional services
• coordinate order completion with the expeditor
• ensure customer packaging and reel-marking requirements
• maintain operating-supply inventory and department metrics
• participate in hiring and daily warehouse/sales calls
• address safety hazards
• and improve workflow processes.
