Project Engineer — Electrical Construction

The Project Engineer works fully in person in Portland, OR, primarily in an office with regular jobsite visits. Compensation is not specified. The role supports Prime Electric and Stoner Electric’s electrical contracting projects. The engineer assists with project planning, documentation, scheduling, purchasing, estimating, billing, and field coordination. This work helps project management and field teams execute electrical construction projects and track progress and changes.

What you'll do

• Monitor project planning, execution, and closure
• assist with permits and inspection scheduling
• maintain project files, submittals, drawings, and correspondence
• help create field installation work packages and monitor schedules
• assist with purchase orders and potential change orders
• write and track RFIs
• contribute to job billing
• attend status meetings
• support project and field management
• follow the safety program
• maintain an onsite presence and visit jobsites.
