What you'll do

• Assist the chef with kitchen operations and meal service
• check ingredient and product freshness
• follow recipes and measure, weigh, and mix ingredients
• bake, grill, steam, and boil foods
• occasionally serve food
• handle and store ingredients
• maintain food safety and sanitation
• clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
• operate kitchen equipment.
