Maintenance Technician II

The Maintenance Technician II role is onsite in Portage, MI. Compensation is $24–$26 per hour. Full Circle Communities is a mission-driven nonprofit working to expand access to quality affordable housing and support residents’ well-being. The technician maintains residential properties and prepares apartments for new residents, helping ensure safe, comfortable, and well-maintained homes. The role responds to work orders, performs repairs and inspections, and supports property safety, operations, and resident service.

What you'll do

• Complete property work orders
• prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• service appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures
• re-key apartments and assist with inspections
• inspect buildings and grounds
• perform general maintenance, custodial, and snow and ice removal work
• report unsafe conditions
• follow safety procedures
• maintain tools and supply inventory
• participate in the scheduled on-call rotation and respond to property emergencies.
