Director of Human Resources

The Director of Human Resources role is hybrid, based at Hive Group’s headquarters in McLean, VA, with one to two telework days per week. Compensation is $135,000–$165,000 per year. The director leads and executes People Operations across the employee lifecycle, partnering with leadership and hiring managers on workforce planning, employee relations, benefits, performance, and compliance. The role supports business growth by improving HR operations and aligning people programs with company culture and federal contracting requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead daily HR operations and advise employees and managers
• support workforce planning and organizational development
• administer benefits and open enrollment
• coordinate onboarding and orientation
• lead and support HR staff
• advise executive leadership
• drive change management and engagement
• coordinate performance reviews and employee relations
• ensure labor and federal contractor compliance
• maintain Workday HRIS and reporting
• support payroll and annual compliance functions.
