- help manage nursing operations, staffing, and scheduling
- ensure regulatory compliance
- assist with hiring, orientation, training, and evaluations
- monitor resident care plans and clinical concerns
- investigate incidents and complaints
- participate in quality improvement and infection prevention
- maintain medical documentation
- coordinate care with physicians, therapists, social workers, and families
- fill in for the Director of Nursing when needed.
