Infant Teacher

The Infant Teacher role is onsite in Walkertown, NC. Compensation is $16–$19 per hour. Church Childcare Center and Church Childcare Plus provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants and their families. The teacher creates a safe, engaging classroom that supports infants’ exploration and development. Through age-appropriate activities, observation, family communication, and collaboration with colleagues, the role contributes to children’s learning, well-being, and developmental progress.

What you'll do

• Create an inclusive learning environment
• develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
• facilitate activities such as arts and crafts, music and movement, storytelling, and outdoor play
• assess progress and document observations
• communicate with parents and guardians
• collaborate with teachers and support staff
• maintain children’s safety and follow health and safety procedures.

Why this role

CDA or an associate degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience and certifications may be considered. First aid and CPR certifications are required.
