Crime Scene Cleanup Technician

The Crime Scene Cleanup Technician role is onsite in San Antonio, TX, and pays $20–$28 per hour, including time driving to and from jobs and time on the job. Bio Recovery Group provides biohazard remediation and cleaning services to help individuals and communities recover from traumatic incidents. The technician cleans and remediates contaminated environments, follows safety procedures and disposal protocols, documents work, and maintains equipment and supplies. The role supports safe, professional, and compassionate responses to emergency cleanup needs and includes 24/7 on-call availability and possible multi-day travel to neighboring states.

What you'll do

• Clean and remediate environments contaminated by suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, hoarding, accidents, and similar events
• follow supervisor direction for biohazard waste disposal
• use PPE and follow safety procedures
• document and photograph work before and after remediation
• maintain equipment and supplies
• treat clients with empathy and respect.
