The Experienced Coal Miner role is onsite at Harrison County Coal Resources in Wallace, WV. Pay is $35.348–$36.415 per hour. The position supports underground coal production and operations. The miner performs assigned labor and production-support work, operates underground mining equipment safely, inspects work areas for hazards, and follows company policies and mining regulations. The role contributes to safe and efficient coal production while working underground approximately 900 feet for 8–10 hours a day.

What you'll do

• Safely operate underground mining equipment
• support coal production and general labor operations
• conduct oversight of material delivery
• perform outby production support such as compliance duties, brattice work, belt and power moves, and pipe and pumping support
• inspect work areas for hazards
• organize assigned tasks
• comply with company policies and federal and state laws.
