This engineer turns manufacturing reasoning into software, creating geometry algorithms, process constraints, and physical models that help convert device designs into manufacturable forms. The work connects design and process engineering and validates software decisions against fabrication results.

What you'll do

• Develop algorithms and representations for design-for-manufacturing
• encode manufacturability constraints in the design loop
• work with design and process engineers to formalize manufacturing judgment
• ground decisions in physical process evidence
• validate layouts against fabrication runs
• structure production history for calibration and regression testing.
