Class B Commercial Driver’s License Package Delivery Driver

Job overview

The Class B Commercial Driver’s License Package Delivery Driver role is onsite in Valparaiso, IN, with compensation of $24–$27 per hour. Core hours are 4:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., either Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday; additional hours may be required based on production volume or customer needs. Morgan Distributing supplies motor oils, industrial lubricants, metalworking, and specialty fluids. The driver safely delivers packaged products to local and out-of-town customers and supports related loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving work. The role also handles delivery documentation and product transfers to customer tanks or drums as required.

What you'll do

• Perform pre-trip DOT inspections and report defects
• follow DOT regulations and road rules
• maintain required company and DOT documents
• use electronic devices and delivery documents
• safely load and deliver packaged products
• move products by hand or mechanical means
• transfer products from containers to customer tanks or drums
• assist shipping and receiving
• operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and shrink-wrap machines safely
• record and identify materials.
