Senior Family Law Attorney — Managing Attorney

Job overview

The Senior Family Law Attorney role is onsite in Charlotte, NC. Compensation is $140,000–$170,000 per year, plus bonus and incentive opportunities. The attorney will open the firm’s Charlotte SouthPark office and expand its family law practice. The role leads family law matters from intake through trial or resolution, providing strategic legal advocacy and empathetic client support. It also manages associate attorneys, collaborates with the legal team, and keeps firm partners informed about case status and deadlines.

What you'll do

• Lead divorce, custody, support, alimony, and paternity cases from intake through resolution or trial
• research and develop case strategies
• draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and court documents
• represent clients in court, mediations, and depositions
• negotiate settlements
• manage associate attorneys
• communicate case status to partners.
