Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist is an onsite, full-time position in Tyrone, PA, paying $50,000 per year. The role supports MAG Industries’ day-to-day Human Resources function and works with employees, managers, leadership, benefit providers, and other external partners. This generalist administers core employee processes—including onboarding, payroll, benefits, retirement plans, leave, workers’ compensation, and separations—so records and workflows are accurate, confidential, and handled in accordance with established procedures. The role also serves as an employee contact for HR questions and escalates sensitive concerns to leadership as directed.

What you'll do

• Administer onboarding, background checks, drug testing, Form I-9 documentation, and personnel records
• process payroll through ADP and address timekeeping discrepancies
• support benefits enrollment and 401(k) administration
• coordinate leave, disability, accommodation, and workers’ compensation processes
• maintain separation and disciplinary records
• support employee concerns and escalate them appropriately
• maintain handbooks, policies, forms, and acknowledgments.
