Staff Pharmacist

Staff Pharmacist is an onsite role in Fort Myers, FL, with a Monday–Thursday schedule of 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and Friday hours of 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The pharmacy team serves people affected by HIV, hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infections, and other infectious diseases. The Staff Pharmacist reviews and dispenses prescriptions, counsels patients and healthcare providers, maintains accurate medication records, and supports pharmacy quality and regulatory standards. The role helps ensure safe, timely medication services and coordinated patient care.

What you'll do

• Interpret and verify medication orders
• review patient profiles for dosage, route, duplication, interactions, and allergies
• contact prescribers or patients to clarify orders
• dispense medications and provide counseling
• maintain accurate patient profiles and insurance information
• complete medication reconciliation and synchronization
• participate in pharmacy quality improvement and daily clinical activities
• verify prescription records and orders.

Why this role
