The Security and Emergency Services Manager is an onsite, full-time day-shift role based primarily in Benson, NC, with supporting responsibility for the Durham, NC research and development site. The manager will establish and lead physical security and emergency preparedness across the company’s sites, protecting facilities and controlled information while preparing employees and external responders to manage incidents. The role builds the programs, response capabilities, vendor relationships, and cross-functional practices needed to support manufacturing operations and future facility growth.

What you'll do

• Lead physical security operations at the Benson facility and oversee the program at the Durham R&D site
• administer access control and video systems
• maintain security plans and procedures
• manage visitor, contractor, and vendor security
• assess risks and lead investigations
• maintain audit-ready records
• develop emergency plans, drills, and exercises
• coordinate with fire, EMS, emergency management, and law enforcement
• establish and lead the emergency response function
• manage guard-force vendors, budgets, and service contracts
• partner with Engineering, Operations, and HR
• report security and preparedness metrics to leadership.
