Commercial Building Cleaner

The Commercial Building Cleaner role is onsite in Shelbyville, IN. Pay is $14–$15 per hour. The cleaner reports to an account manager and helps ensure assigned accounts are cleaned to specifications. The role maintains clean, orderly commercial and industrial spaces while meeting customer and company standards. It contributes through independent cleaning, supply and equipment upkeep, safety practices, and communication about site concerns and customer issues.

What you'll do

• Clean assigned buildings independently, including restrooms, break rooms, coffee bars, kitchenettes, offices, conference rooms, common areas, and stairwells
• remove trash and perform general and detail cleaning within budgeted hours
• report maintenance, safety, and supply concerns to the account manager
• follow safety procedures and proper chemical use
• clock in and out at the job site using a personal cell phone with precise location and monitor the cleaning app for customer issues
• restock supplies, maintain equipment, and keep janitorial spaces organized
• maintain confidentiality and customer service standards
• work overtime or outside regular hours when needed.
