What you'll do

• Lay brick, concrete block, stone, and other masonry materials
• mix mortar or grout
• cut and shape materials
• read blueprints and specifications
• check alignment and level
• repair masonry and repoint mortar joints
• clean surfaces and remove debris
• use appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures
• collaborate with construction professionals on site.
