Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Gig/Per Diem is an onsite position in Saint Louis, MO. The pay rate is $30/hour plus variable shift incentive. This position utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision, maintaining professional accountability and coordinating care with other departments. The nurse evaluates the effectiveness of care and ensures patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.

What you'll do

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience

One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg. For all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent bed-side LPN experience.
