What you'll do

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• record medical histories, medications, allergies, vital signs, and test results
• obtain consent forms
• prepare and administer medications as directed
• explain care instructions
• assist physicians with examinations and procedures
• maintain exam rooms, supplies, instruments, and logs
• safeguard medical records
• answer calls and assist providers.
