Fork Truck Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Fork Truck Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Holly, MI, with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift. Pay is $23–$30 per hour, depending on experience. The technician supports daily manufacturing operations by maintaining fork trucks and other equipment. The role diagnoses, repairs and performs preventive maintenance on fork trucks and industrial equipment to support safe, reliable operations. The technician also follows maintenance schedules, reports issues requiring additional attention and maintains a clean, safe work area.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair fork truck electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and fuel systems
• inspect and perform preventive maintenance
• diagnose steering, braking, lifting and power-system issues
• review schedules with the Maintenance Supervisor
• maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• complete bench jobs
• report issues
• keep work areas clean and safe
• follow ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 procedures.
