What you'll do

• Supervise and support triage staff in assessing and prioritizing patient needs, including urgent eye conditions.
• Guide staff training and monitor compliance with clinical guidelines and institute policies.
• Track department performance metrics, report on performance and staffing, and develop improvement plans.
• Standardize triage processes, oversee daily operations, identify scheduling gaps, manage the patient waitlist, support appointment scheduling, and maintain documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate communication among patients, providers, triage staff, and front-office personnel.
