Instructional Designer — Utilities and Energy Training

Job overview

The Instructional Designer role is hybrid in Carmel, IN, with three days onsite per week and pay of $35–$40 per hour. The designer supports a growing energy client by creating and updating e-learning content and training materials. The role develops engaging, accurate learning experiences that translate technical concepts into accessible content while meeting compliance and regulatory requirements. It supports the client’s training needs through collaboration with subject matter experts and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Update and enhance e-learning modules
• develop interactive e-learning, video tutorials, in-person training content, job aids, and infographics
• collaborate with subject matter experts and internal teams
• apply ADDIE and learning-and-development practices
• ensure materials meet compliance and regulatory requirements
• translate technical concepts into clear learning content.
