The Payroll Processor role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Pay is $40–$45 per hour. The processor supports a client’s payroll operations for approximately 2,800 employees across about 30 payroll groups. The role exists to deliver accurate, timely payroll and maintain compliance across complex, multi-state and union populations. It also supports the planned transition from ADP Workforce Now to SAP Employee Central Payroll through implementation, testing, process development, and documentation activities.

What you'll do

• Manage payroll processing for approximately 2,800 employees across about 30 payroll groups
• process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls
• support multi-state payroll requirements, including California and Pennsylvania
• ensure federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance
• support tax filings, reconciliations, audits, and compliance
• administer payroll for employees covered by approximately 30 union agreements
• prepare payroll reports and reconciliations using Excel, including PivotTables and Lookups
• resolve discrepancies
• partner with HR and shared-services teams
• participate in the ADP Workforce Now to SAP ECP transition, including implementation, testing, process development, and documentation
• support timekeeping processes
• provide hands-on support during high-volume periods, including occasional overtime as needed
• protect confidential payroll information.
