What you'll do

• Perform routine analytical testing on raw materials, metal powders, in-process samples, and finished magnets
• follow standard operating procedures and assist with testing and procedure updates under guidance
• operate assigned analytical equipment after training
• prepare samples in ambient and glovebox environments
• prepare metallographic specimens
• perform instrument checks, quality-control measurements, and basic maintenance
• record and report results
• maintain a clean laboratory and safely handle chemicals, powders, and waste
• support laboratory records and quality-system requirements.
