Activities Director

The Activities Director role is onsite in Newton Upper Falls, MA. Compensation is $50,000–$65,000 per year, based on experience. The director supports resident care and quality of life at Stone Rehab and Senior Living. The director plans and oversees recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities tailored to residents’ interests, abilities, preferences, and care plans. The role supports resident engagement by leading activities staff and volunteers and coordinating with nursing, rehabilitation, and other departments.

What you'll do

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee a diverse activity calendar
• develop individualized programs based on residents’ interests, abilities, preferences, and care plans
• lead and supervise activities staff and volunteers
• provide guidance, scheduling support, and training
• collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and other departments to support resident-centered care and regulatory compliance. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and current Massachusetts Activities Director or Occupational Therapist Assistant certification
• assisted-living or long-term-care experience is preferred.
