What you'll do
- Receive and process supplies and equipment
- decontaminate and clean instruments
- prepare case carts and trays
- operate washers, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilizers
- inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, and damage
- package and sterilize instruments
- document sterilizer test parameters
- maintain inventory
- and help the operating room team obtain equipment promptly. Travel between sites may be needed based on departmental needs.
