What you'll do

• Assign ICD-10, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, modifiers, and CPT codes
• use DRG and APC groupers and other computer programs to support reimbursement
• assist with concurrent chart review data collection
• review payer guidelines
• monitor documentation timeliness and pre-claim edits
• manage assigned denial and insurance inquiry worklists
• prepare departmental reports and attend coding training.
