Salon Assistant

The Salon Assistant role is onsite in Belmont, MA. Pay is $18 per hour. Roberts Salon serves the Belmont community with hair care and personalized client services. The assistant supports stylists and colorists while helping clients and maintaining salon operations. This work helps the salon provide an organized, welcoming experience and gives the assistant opportunities to learn from experienced stylists.

What you'll do

• Assist stylists and colorists with shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing
• greet and check in clients
• maintain clean, organized stations, tools, and common areas. Mix and apply hair color under stylist supervision, manage and restock product inventory, answer phones, schedule appointments, and support the team during busy periods.
