Press Operator Assistant — Flexible Packaging, PM Shift

The Press Operator Assistant role is onsite in De Pere, WI, on the PM shift from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., following a rotating schedule of three days on, one day off, three days on, and seven days off. Compensation is $24–$26 per hour, with a $2 per hour PM shift differential. Belmark produces flexible packaging, and this role supports its press team. The assistant helps the press team produce consistent, high-quality work while learning press operations, job setup, and production procedures. The position is designed to build the knowledge needed to reach Press Operator status within a maximum of one year.

What you'll do

• Follow safety procedures and Safe Quality Foods requirements
• comply with operating procedures and work instructions
• take accurate notes when operating the press independently
• perform basic job setups within three months
• learn schedules, job information, calculations, and color and ink handling
• complete job paperwork and computer entries within six months
• maintain an organized work area
• handle and label designated waste materials and move waste drums to storage locations.
