Machine Learning Engineer, Clinical Genomics

The Machine Learning Engineer role is hybrid, with two to three onsite days at MyOme’s laboratory campus in Menlo Park, CA. The annual salary range is $170,000–$200,000, and the role is eligible for equity. MyOme’s mission is to provide clinically actionable genetic information using whole-genome sequencing, AI, and digital tools. The engineer develops and improves disease-risk models and takes them from training through reliable, monitored, clinically reportable services. The role works with model developers and clinical, regulatory, product, and engineering teams to support validated genetic risk insights for patients and clinicians.

What you'll do

• Develop deep-learning disease-risk models using clinical and genomic data
• productionize models as versioned bundles with reproducible training and a model registry
• build and maintain Python and FastAPI inference services
• implement calibration and score reporting
• monitor model performance and input drift
• automate external validation
• coordinate model evaluation at clinical trial sites
• apply LLM and agentic methods where they add measurable value
• prepare validation reports, model cards, and change-control documentation.
