The Phlebotomist — 1st Shift role is onsite in Columbus, OH, with a stated pay rate of $20 per hour. The schedule is 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; Saturday work is possible. The client provides diagnostic information services and describes its laboratory work as supporting healthcare outcomes that affect patient lives. The role collects and processes clinical and forensic specimens while helping patients feel informed and at ease. Accurate, timely collection, documentation, and adherence to established procedures support laboratory testing and the client’s diagnostic services.

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the area supervisor’s direction.
• Maintain a safe, professional environment.
• Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens according to established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Why this role

Requires at least six months of experience, phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric patients, and keyboard/data-entry experience. High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical assistant or paramedic training and phlebotomy certification are preferred; certification is required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Availability may be needed for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
