What you'll do

• Verify test requisitions against nursing station logs and address discrepancies with facility personnel
• perform venipunctures
• safely handle and transport specimens and track mileage
• follow aseptic techniques, department protocols, and isolation procedures
• document collection details including initials, date, and time
• enter sample acquisition details in laboratory information systems
• follow legal and industry safety standards
• maintain professional conduct.
