What you'll do
- Learn HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal takeoffs and estimates
- review specifications and drawings to determine scope and estimate requirements
- maintain estimate backup and supplier pricing information
- learn bid preparation and closeout
- participate in pre-bid meetings and bid strategy
- collaborate with project development and operations on proposals
- develop vendor, supplier, subcontractor, and client relationships
- support constructability reviews, workforce requirements, schedules, and trade impacts
- coordinate bid information and quotes with the Bid Coordinator.
