What you'll do

• Design power plant sites, microgrids, medium- and low-voltage distribution systems, switchgear, motor control centers, convenience power, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection
• model and analyze electrical systems
• prepare schematic and wiring diagrams and equipment specifications
• prepare reports, determine code requirements, and perform or review design computations
• coordinate technical efforts
• manage design budgets and schedules
• develop engineering drawings and specifications
• perform and check calculations
• select and specify equipment and coordinate with vendors
• perform project field site visits.
