The role exists to provide autonomous care for cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients. The PA alternates daily between the OR and non-surgical duties, performing bedside procedures and assisting in surgeries to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

What you'll do

• Perform office-based pre-op H&P and post-op recovery of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients.
• Assist in the OR for cardiovascular and thoracic surgery cases, including Endoscopic Vein Harvesting.
• Perform bedside procedures including thoracentesis, chest tube placement, arterial lines, and central venous access.
• Alternate daily between OR and non-surgical duties.
