Cyber Support Analyst — Active DoD Secret Clearance

The Cyber Support Analyst role is onsite in Norfolk, Virginia. The proposed salary range is $40,000–$50,000 per year. Watershed Security provides cybersecurity and government contracting services, including support for cybersecurity operations, risk management, and compliance. The analyst helps protect and assess Navy and Department of Defense systems by supporting vulnerability management, patching and scanning, risk assessments, and compliance inspections. The work contributes to cybersecurity readiness through technical remediation, incident reporting, and review of DoD cybersecurity requirements.

What you'll do

• Support vulnerability management and cybersecurity site visits
• assist with patching and scanning systems and networks
• conduct mission-based risk assessments and support compliance inspections
• research Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts
• test and apply approved patches and perform remediation
• review DoD cybersecurity documents and instructions
• use cybersecurity tools including ACAS, HBSS, VRAM, eMASS, and STIG Viewer.
