Working under a certificated teacher, the paraprofessional helps students with disabilities and learning differences access classroom instruction and meet educational goals. The role provides individualized and small-group assistance, supports accommodations and behavior plans, and contributes to an inclusive and safe learning environment.

What you'll do

• Support implementation of Individualized Education Plans
• reinforce teacher-led learning through one-on-one and small-group instruction
• modify materials under teacher guidance
• assist with Behavioral Intervention Plans and positive behavior strategies
• supervise students and support daily living tasks as needed
• assist with adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• communicate observations and feedback
• record student performance and behavior data
• maintain confidentiality.
