The Meals on Wheels (MOW) Part-Time Driver position is onsite in La Marque, TX, and works up to 20 hours per week. Compensation is $15 per hour. Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston serves vulnerable populations through Meals on Wheels and other community programs. The driver delivers hot and frozen meals to clients’ homes and reports relevant changes in clients’ well-being to the MOW Coordinator. Accurate route, time, and meal records help the Senior Services team provide reliable deliveries and coordinate client support.

What you'll do

• Deliver meals to clients on assigned routes and within required time frames
• conduct wellness checks and report changes to the MOW Coordinator
• operate and maintain a personal vehicle safely
• follow route maps and assigned schedules
• maintain vehicle and meal-carrier cleanliness
• record route times, delivery details, meal counts, and deviations
• communicate missed meals, absences, and potential complaints
• follow food-handling and safety procedures
• attend required training and meetings.
