Residential Aide

The Residential Aide role is onsite in Karnak, IL, and pays $18.35–$21.65 per hour. The position supports Arrowleaf’s supervised residential program, which provides 24/7 services to adults with substantial mental illness or disability. The role implements treatment plans, skills training, and case management activities while coordinating observations and documentation with clinical staff.

What you'll do

• Provide supervision and support in a structured residential setting
• deliver eligible behavioral health services, community support, and case management
• implement individualized treatment plans through coaching, skills training, and behavioral interventions
• support daily living activities, meal preparation, medication prompting, and community integration
• document services
• monitor and report behaviors and symptoms
• use de-escalation techniques during crises
• maintain a safe and organized facility.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, RSA qualification, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, personal vehicle liability insurance, age 21 or older, required clearances, and CPR and First Aid training. Work may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts; staff must remain awake and onsite during scheduled shifts.
