What you'll do

• Prepare and serve meals, including therapeutic meals, according to planned menus and standardized recipes
• review menu extensions
• suggest menu changes to the corporate dietitian
• follow portion control
• ensure resident meal trays are correct
• use and teach proper food-handling techniques
• clean and store food properly
• assist with receiving and storing supplies
• make and record menu substitutions
• meet meal schedules
• report incidents and hazards
• and supervise the dietary department when the supervisor is absent.
