What you'll do

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, medical histories, and documenting symptoms
• assist physicians and nursing staff during examinations and minor procedures
• administer medications and injections as directed
• maintain patient records in electronic health record systems
• schedule appointments, manage referrals, and coordinate follow-up care
• educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care
• follow infection control standards and clinic policies
• manage clinical supplies and sterilize instruments.
